The annual Edinburgh Charity Fashion Show (ECFS) 2009 hits the catwalk on Friday 20 March, following its launch party this coming Friday.
The ECFS has raised over £200,000 over the past five years, and has quickly become one of the most important student-led events in Edinburgh.
This year ECFS hopes to top last year's profit of £40,000, achieved through sponsorship, a VIP night, donations and by auctioning away items such as Sting's guitar, tickets to New York, and guitars signed by the likes of the Kooks and James Blunt.
This year, the students on the runway are working to raise money for Maggie's, the Scottish Motor Neurone Disease Association and the Neurology Unit at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh.
In the past, the fashion show has worked with brands like Luella, Boudiche, Vivienne Westwood, Burberry, Basso and Brook, Godiva and Daks to name a few.
