Last Saturday marked the arrival of the "Occupy" protest movement in Edinburgh, as several hundred demonstrators set up camp at St Andrew Square in the city centre to protest against social inequality in the global financial system.
The occupation is still ongoing — albeit in much-reduced form — as of Thursday evening. The group hold daily, live-streamed 'general assemblies' to decide the progress and direction of the occupation.
